Hi, everyone! How's your summer going? For those still in school, hang in there! :) I still have a bunch of art to submit here, especially the assignments from my art classes at Hope. I hope I find my camera soon! For my summer job, I've decided to sell drawings and clay figurines and jewelry on deviantART. I've got a few things pre-made (Pokémon badges, 1up mushroom earrings, frog pendants…) that are up for sale (pictures are coming soon!) and I'll continue making more things out of clay. Sooooo I've got a feeling I'm gonna drop a bunch of thoughts and feelings into a little virtual text box. Um, soon-ish. Maybe. (IKNOWIMHORRIBLEIMSORRY.) Though I'm always really hesitant about saying too much because I don't want to be/seem egotistical and self-absorbed. I do sorta wanna write stuff, but I think, "why would anyone want to read this?" (Is this silly? I mean this IS my page for heaven's sake and it's not like I'm forcing anyone to read it… Yeah, okay, on second thought, that is a little ridiculous.) To start, a reflection: 'Twas a spring and summer of growth and rebirth for this crazy idealist. I can't wait to start this school year as the older and wiser, yet at the same time, self-assured and renewed, me. And with you by my side, I stand strong, unafraid to face whatever obstacles the future holds. I know that's vague. April-July held life-changing occurrences and decisions for me. (I guess that was pretty vague too.) I suspect that I'll reveal more, piece by piece, as time goes on.
